This is a photo of a Columbus (1824-1878) and Mary Susan Flanagan (1835-1911) Wolford. Mary was the daughter of William Flanagan. Columbus was the son of John and Frances Thompson Wolford, Jr. The names would be familiar with the Red Creek area of the county: Flanagan and Wolford. Their children were: Christina (married a Hess), Edith Edna (married Simeon Roy, Jr.), Malan (married Mary Etta Leary), Columbia Elizabeth (married Joseph Hedrick), Claudius (Elizabeth Cooper), Amelius (married Martin Van Buren Pennington), Mary (married a Roy) , Alice (1875-1895) and Florence Jane (married Robert Wolford).
