This is the first time I have recommended a book on the site. There have been many books written concerning Tucker County. I highly recommend Big Doc and Little Doc. This book contains some of the most unusual cases taken care of by country doctors. The doctors were “Big Doc” Wiliam Werner and “Little Doc” Harry Werner. The office for the doctors was in Thomas.
