This is a rerun of the picture from last week. The information was correct; however, it did not go along with the picture. The picture is Mariantonia Fictullo Scott. She was married to Simion “Pete” Scott. This is Jeanette Lamberts grandmother; her dad’s mother. The Scotts had the following children: Angelo, Joseph, Samuel and Lorine Scott (Berdin) who lived to be 101 years old. The original family came through Ellis Island. Mr. and Mrs. Scott lived in Weaver, WV, Youngstown, OH, and then Pierce, WV. Mr. Scott was the last of the old time coal miners; the miners who used a pick and shovel to dig coal.
