This is a group of men just flying in from being stationed in Alaska. They were with the Army providing service to the Country. Looks like they are happy to be back home. I only know one person in the picture (front row; third from left) William “Bill” Bonner. He was from the Flanagan Hill Area and his parents were Asa and Melvina Flanagan Bonner. He was with the 726 Engineer Heavy Shop Company. He received the American Defense Service Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Theater Campaign Medal.
