This is a postcard message to wish all a Happy New Year. I am sure everyone is looking forward to the New Year and leaving 2020 behind. We are looking forward to the good things it will bring. I have heard that each new year and each day within it is a blank page waiting for you to make of it what you will. The postage for these cards was a penny; thus, they became known as penny cards. This card was mailed from North Dakota on December 29, 1921. I do not think it made its way to the old West Virginia family homeplace and those still living there by January 1.
