This is a photo of Sarah Ellen “Ella” Orr Rightmire. Ella was from Kingwood; she was the daughter of Ami and Alice McKinney Orr. She married Warren Harvey Rightmire of Parsons. They were married in Oakland, MD on March 28, 1904. They had at least the following children: Pauline married Ben Harris, and Dewey Glenn married Nellie Marie Hale. Ella taught school for 32 years before retiring. She was active in the Baptist church serving as teacher of the Women’s Bible class, deaconess and church clerk. She also completed some artwork.
