These children are unknown but they could be the children of Alice Shoemaker?? Perhaps a reader can identify them.
Last week’s photo of the young woman was Alice Shoemaker; the photo was taken at the Poling Photo in Parsons. Does anyone remember where that was located? She was the daughter of Noah and Virginia Moore Shumacher (an original spelling of Shoemaker). Noah was the postmaster at the Moore Station. Alice had 5 children. She lived at Porterwood before moving to Parsons. When she lived in Porterwood she live on the farm which included the property where Worley Simmons lived.
