Turner’s Tidbits – October 11, 2017

This week’s photo is of an unknown lady could be related to Myrtle Dye or Dilley’s.

The photo of the five children have gone unknown; it did not appear they were related to the Dilley’s perhaps to Myrtle Dye?? Several weeks ago I had a call from Carl Miller and lost his number. He had the connections to the Longs. I received a nice letter from Judy Long (wife of David Long) of MI. Ed and Lizzie Long were the parents to Stanley Long. A nephew Benson Long lived there and married Margie Carr (possible from Hambleton, there were 14 children in family and they are all deceased). Margie’s sister, Hazel Carr was the housekeeper for Ed and Lizzie. Benson and Margie Carr Long had 11 children: Lela, Beldon, John, David (living in MI), Gladys (living in MI), Robert, Charlotte (living in GA), Dorothy, Gerald, Richard, Garey (living in WI). Ideas or comments contact Tim Turner (304) 478-3389.
