This is a photo of a Western Maryland Eastbound Train. The number on the engine is 812. The photo was taken west of Hambleton about 1950. The water tower is on the right hand side of the engine. The engine is pulling a large amount of train cars and they extend to the curve on the left side of the photo. **Some additional info on the Preston Railroad. The line extended to the mouth of Maxwell Run all the way to Horse Shoe Run turn left and end of the Bottoms and to the head of Dry Run. Also the water tower and main shop were located in Shaffertown and not Leadmine.
