ELKINS, WV (03/27/2015)(readMedia)– Seniors in the Davis & Elkins College nursing program joined with student and professional nurses from throughout West Virginia to participate in Nurse Unity Day at the Capitol in Charleston, W.Va. The annual event allows those in the nursing profession an opportunity to learn how current issues will impact health care.
The students attended a two-hour presentation with guest speakers from state and national nursing organizations and observed sessions in the House and Senate.

Jessica Bishoff of Parsons and the daughter of Christopher and Donna Bishoff of Parsons, W. Va. Nicole Fortney of Thomas and a resident of Thomas, W. Va. Katelyn Isner of Kerens and a resident of Kerens, W. Va. Steven Sponaugle of Parsons and the son of Dana Corcoran and Steven Sponaugle of Parsons, W. Va.
