Multiple Tucker County residents achieved academic honors during the Spring 2025 semester at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College.
Earning President’s List honors, which requires completing 12 or more credit hours this spring with a 4.0 grade point average, was county resident Abbigail Jenkins.
Dean’s List recipients, earned for completing 9 or more credit hours this spring with at least a 3.5 grade point average, were Malia Nicole Cussins, Peyton Hicks, Reid O’Neil Kisamore, and Krista D. Liller.
Merit List recipients, which requires completing 6 or more credit hours this spring with a 3.25 grade point average, were county residents Oliver Cade Archuleta, Isabella Ruth Bennett, Annabelle Diane Gregory, Shilah Belle Jones, Mikaila Rose Lawrence, Sutton Pase, Nathan Powell, Amber M Price, Ryan Allen Scott, Aiden Matthew Stigley, Rylee Jean White, Lorelai Faye Wilfong, and Lela Ann Wright.

Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College, located in Moorefield, serves six rural counties in the Potomac Highlands. The college offers 14 degree programs (including six fully online), 12 certificates, and over 30 transfer pathways to four-year schools. Its Workforce Education department provides 15+ training programs in various formats and specialized Agriculture Innovation training, including mentorship opportunities for Farm Fellows. Eastern supports students and the community through its Career Center, offering job placement, resume help, and interview preparation. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
