(Moorefield, WV) – Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College (Eastern) is ready to show off their new sustainable parking lot and usher in the next generation of Eagles and at an upcoming Open House.
From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, November 12, community members and future students will have the opportunity to learn about everything Eastern has to offer. Take a tour of Eastern’s Moorefield campus, complete the applications for admission and financial aid and see class schedules all in one place. There will be also plenty of information about Eastern’s workforce training and degree, transfer and certificate programs, all of which prepare graduates for in-demand careers like Wind Energy Technology, Nursing, Automotive Technology and Information Technology. In just a short amount of time, students will have the skills and training necessary to obtain a stable career or transfer to a university to complete their bachelor’s degree.
“There is a lot happening here at Eastern,” said Dr. Chuck Terrell, Eastern’s president. “Our community is our largest and most supportive partner and we are excited to share with them the dynamic and positive things taking place up here at the college.”
No appointment is necessary to attend. Those interested are encouraged to RSVP at (304) 434-8000 to take advantage of this one-stop shopping trip for all their college needs. Enrollment is now open for winter 2018 and spring 2019, with the winter session beginning on December 10.
