Generous donor offers match

Moorefield, WV – To honor the graduating class of 2017, Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical College (Eastern) has launched the $20.17 Campaign for Excellence. Graduates of the class of 2017 and the community are asked to donate $20.17 to the Eastern Foundation to make a difference in the life of a current or future student.

Announced at the college’s annual commencement exercises, a generous donor has offered to match every donation up to the amount of $2,500. “We are honored to have a donor partner that believes so strongly in what we do here at Eastern,” said Dr. Charles Terrell, president of Eastern. “We change lives here and $20.17 will go a long way to helping our students achieve their goals and creating a stronger region for all of us.”

All gifts to Eastern are tax-deductible.

For more information or to make a donation to the $20.17 Campaign for Excellence, please contact Dr. Terrell’s office at (304) 434-8000 or by email at Michael.O_Leary@easternwv.edu
