HEARING AND SPEECH SCREENINGS PLANNED

Tucker County Schools along with Rhea Dyer, M.S., CCC/SLP, Kelly E. Clyde, M.S., CCC/SLP and Cheryl Bifano, RESA VII Educational Audiologist, will be conducting the annual hearing, speech and language screenings in our schools.  Hearing screenings are scheduled to take place on October 23 and 24, 2017.


Students who will be screened are as follows:

(1)  All students entering school for the first time who have not been screened at school;

(2)  All students who have been referred for re-screenings of hearing or speech screenings from last year; and

(3)  Any teacher referrals for screening.

Parents will be notified if any student should fail the screenings.

Those who do not wish their child to be tested must contact their respective school in writing.  For additional information, you can contact Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School at 304-478-3606; Davis Thomas Elementary Middle School at 304-463-4422; and Tucker County High School at 304-478-2651.
