Bolyard led Tucker County Golf Team in first 3 matches

Senior Carleigh Bolyard has led Tucker County in every match this year

HOLLY MEADOWS – The Mt. Lions Golf team opened the season at Holly Meadows Country Club on Tuesday August 8th. Tucker County’s Carleigh Bolyard was low medalist for the match with a score of 37.


Tucker County also won the match with a team score of 189. Other scores for the Mt. Lions are as follows: Easton Snyder(45), Connor Nestor(52), Myles Paugh(55), Holden Young(59), Nathan Dearborn(60), John Anderson(60) and Wyatt Betler(66). Gilmer County came in second in the match with a team score of 202 and Tygarts Valley took third with a score of 210.

ELKINS – Tucker County traveled to the Elks Country Club in Elkins for a dual match with Tygarts Valley on Wednesday August 9th. Carleigh Bolyard led all golfers with a low score of 39, which help Tucker County to capture the match with a team score of 174. Tygarts Valley ended the match with a score of 198. Other scores for Tucker County: Easton Snyder(40), Connor Nestor(45), Myles Paugh(50), Nathan Dearborn(55), Holden Young(57) and Wyatt Betler(59).

GRAFTON – Tucker County traveled to Tygart Lake Golf Course for a match on Thursday August 17th. Grafton’s Kolbe Kimbrew was low medalist with a score of 38. Grafton took home 1st place in the match with a team score of 170, followed by Tucker County with 183 and Philip-Barbour with a 211. Tucker County scores were as follows: Carleigh Bolyard(41), Easton Snyder(47), Connor Nestor(47), Holden Young(48), Myles Paugh(50) and Nathan Dearborn(57).

Tucker County will return to action on Thursday August 24th at Canaan Valley at 4pm and then the Mt. Lions will travel to Trinity on Tuesday August 29th at 4pm. For a complete schedule and more info and go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
