2014RR_sm_387Mountain State Girls on the Run will begin it’s 17th season in mid-February. Programs will be located at any elementary or middle school in Barbour, Randolph, Tucker and Upshur counties that have support of the school and available coaches.

Coaches are often teachers, parents or any community member who is interested in mentoring children towards healthy habits and lifestyles. Men and women are welcome to be coaches for our 3rd-5th grade and 6th-8th grade programs. The only requirement is that all new coaches must attend a training session.

This winter’s sessions are on Friday, January 9th from 6-8:30pm and Saturday, January 10th from 9-11:30am. Contact Marlana Pennington to RSVP or for more details at 304-614-6604. Information is also available at http://mountainstategotr.org .
