DAVIS-THOMAS BOYS’ & GIRLS’ BASKETBALL UPDATE

THOMAS – The Lady Bears Girls’ and Bears Boys’ Basketball teams hosted East Hardy on Tuesday December 7th for 3 games.

In the first game of the night the Lady Bears fell in a close contest 30-28.  Mayah Gross led the Davis-Thomas Girls’ with 9 points and Payton Cross added 6 points for the Lady Bears in the loss.

The Davis-Thomas Boys’ JV took the floor in the next game and the Bears JV got the win by the score of 43-24.  Cayden Arnold led the Davis-Thomas JV with 21 points.  In the final game of the night the Bears Varsity team got the win in a close game 39-36.  Keelyn Eichelberger led Davis-Thomas with 12 points and Logan Shahan added 10 points in the win for the Bears.

 

HAMBLETON – Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ teams faced off against Tucker Valley for a JV and Varsity game on Saturday December 11th at the TCHS Gym.

In the Girls’ game Davis-Thomas fell by the score of 27-19.  Isabella Bennet led the Lady Bears with 6 points and Izzy Kitzmiller added 3 points for Davis-Thomas in the loss.

In the Boys’ JV contest the Bears JV got the win by the final score of 48-42.  Cayden Arnold led the Davis-Thomas JV with 18 points and Gabe Oliver added 16 points for the Bears JV in the win.

In the Boys’ Varsity game Davis-Thomas fell to Tucker Valley 57-37.  Reid Kisamore led the Bears with 18 points and Logan Shahan added 6 points for Davis-Thomas in the loss.

 

The Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ teams will be back in action tonight December 15th at Pendleton County.  The teams will then host Petersburg on Friday December 17th with games starting at 5pm.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
