THOMAS – The Davis-Thomas Middle School Girls’ hosted Tygarts Valley on Tuesday December 11th.
The Lady Bears JV team picked up the win by the final score of 20-6. Kiley Hebb led the team with 6 points. Brooklyn Ball, Skylar Canon and Anna Shoemaker added 4 points each in the win. The Davis-Thomas Girls’ Varsity team also got the victory by the final score of 24-22. Ella Spencer led Davis-Thomas with 10 points. Katelyn Simmons and Hannah Cussins added 4 points each for the Lady Bears in the victory.
ROMNEY – The Davis-Thomas Middle School Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Romney on Wednesday December 12th. The Lady Bears fell in their contest 19-14. Katelyn Simmons led the team with 4 points while Lillian Callaway and Erika Zirk added 3 points each in the loss.
The Boys’ JV team lost by the final score of 41-17. Cole Carr led with 7 points and Jaydon Hallem added 5 points in the loss. The Boys’ Varsity team also fell in their contest 56-47. Maddox Anderson led the Bears in scoring with 15 points and Aaron Quattro chipped in with 12 points for Davis-Thomas in the loss.
THOMAS – The Bears teams hosted Kasson on Friday December 14th. The Davis-Thomas Girls’ fell in their contest 42-8. Lillian Callaway, Rachel Felton, Hannah Cussins and Anna Shoemaker all scored 2 points each to lead Davis-Thomas. The Boys’ JV team picked up the win 48-14. Cole Carr led with 13 points and Kaiden Hebb added 9 points for the Bears in the win. The Bears Boys’ Varsity team won by the final score of 68-27. Trevan Bonner led Davis-Thomas with 19 points and Levi Bennett followed close by with 18 points in the win for the Bears.
The Davis-Thomas teams will travel to Moorefield tonight December 19th and then they will travel to Union on Thursday December 20th. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
