MOOREFIELD – The Davis-Thomas Middle School Girls’ and Boys’ teams traveled to Moorefield on Wednesday December 19th. The Lady Bears JV fell in their contest by the final score of 34-4. Lillian Callaway led the team with all 4 points. The Boys’ JV team also fell in their game 47-20. Kaiden Hebb led the way with 10 points and Jaydon Hallem added 5 points in the loss. In the Boys’ Varsity contest the Bears dropped the game by the final of 38-26. Maddox Anderson led Davis-Thomas in scoring with 11 points and Aaron Quattro chipped in with 5 points for the Bears.
MT STORM – The Davis-Thomas Middle School Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Union on Thursday December 20th. The Lady Bears JV got the victory by the final score of 26-17. Skyler Canon led Davis-Thomas with 11 points and Raven Matthews added 5 points in the JV Girls’ win. The Davis-Thomas Girls’ Varsity team fell in their contest 21-15. Rachel Felton led the way for the Lady Bears with 4 points and Katelyn Simmons chipped in with 3 points in the loss.
The Davis-Thomas Boys’ JV team took home the victory in their game by the final score of 46-23. Trevan Bonner led the team with 13 points and Kaiden Hebb added 9 points in the Bears victory.
The Davis-Thomas Boys’ team will travel to East Preston for a Tournament on December 27th and December 29th. The Lady Bears will return to action on January 3rd at Kasson. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
