MT. STORM – The Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ Middle School Basketball teams traveled to Union on Wednesday December 11th for 3 games. The Lady Bears got picked up the win by the final score of 29-6. Ericka Zirk led Davis-Thomas with 6 points. Rachel Felton, Brooklyn Ball and Raven Matthews added 4 points each for the Lady Bears in victory.
The Boys’ JV team got the win against Union 46-21. The Bears JV team was led in scoring by Logan Shahan with 28 points and Reid Kisamore added 6 points in the Davis-Thomas JV victory.
The Boys’ varsity team also got the win at Union by the final score of 50-17. Trevan Bonner led Davis-Thomas with 11 points. Maddox Anderson and Kobe Bever added 10 points each for the Bears in the win.
The Davis-Thomas Girls’ will return to action tonight Wednesday December 18th at home against Romney. The Davis-Thomas Boys’ will host Pendleton County on Thursday December 19th. The Girls’ and Boys’ teams will round out the busy week with games against Tucker Valley at TCHS on Saturday December 21st with the Girls’ action starting at 2:30pm.
