The Davis-Thomas Middle School Boys’ Basketball team traveled to Harman for a JV / Varsity contest on December 5th. In the first contest the JV team picked up the close win 25-23. The Bears were led by Maddox Anderson and Justin Robeson with 8 points each. Mallikye Ware added 4 points in the win for Davis-Thomas. In the second game of the night the Davis-Thomas varsity fell to Harman in a close game 31-29. Zaden White led Davis-Thomas with 9 points and Isaac Quattro added 7 points in the loss for the Bears.
On December 7th Davis-Thomas host East Hardy Middle for 3 games. The Lady Bears fell in their contest 34-13. Skyler Canon led Davis-Thomas with 3 points. The Boys JV team also dropped the game against East Hardy 48-41. Maddox Anderson led the Bears with 22 points and Aaron Quattro added 8 points in the loss. In the final contest of the night the Boys’ Varsity team picked up the close win by the final score of 60-57. Blake Anderson led Davis-Thomas with 20 points and John Palmer added 19 points in the Bears win.
Davis-Thomas Girls’(1-1) and the Davis-Thomas Boys’(2-1) teams will host Moorefield tonight December 13th at 6pm.
