The Davis-Thomas volleyball teams hit the court hard this past week, facing off against multiple regional opponents in a competitive stretch of matches.
On Monday, the teams traveled to Bruceton Middle School for a tough matchup. The junior varsity squad put up a fight but ultimately fell in three sets. The varsity team followed with two hard-fought sets, each one a back-and-forth battle, but Bruceton managed to edge them out and take both sets for the win.
The Lady Bears quickly bounced back on Thursday when they hosted Tygarts Valley. Both the JV and varsity squads came out strong, dominating the court and sweeping their opponents in straight sets.
Looking ahead, the Davis-Thomas teams will be on the road Monday to take on South Preston, followed by a home matchup on Wednesday against Central Preston.
