The Davis Thomas Bears Volleyball teams had an exciting start to the week with matches against Terra Alta and Tucker Valley.
On Monday, the Junior Varsity team battled hard in a thrilling three-set match against Terra Alta, ultimately coming out on top with a well-earned victory. The Varsity squad followed suit, avenging their earlier tournament loss by sweeping Terra Alta in two sets.
Later in the week, the Bears faced off against Tucker Valley. The JV team once again went the distance, winning in three sets, while the Varsity secured a strong two-set win to keep their momentum going.
A special shoutout to the 8th graders of Davis Thomas and Tucker Valley, pictured here, who show great promise for the future of Tucker Volleyball.
The Bears will return home this Tuesday, ready to face Bruceton and hoping to take revenge from a previous tough loss.
