The Lady Bears of Davis Thomas captured two wins and claimed the title of Davis Thomas Showdown champions in their final week of basketball action.

DT first took on Harman on the 19th, where the Bears led 19–0 after the first quarter and 25–3 at halftime. The second half was much like the first, as DT continued to pour it on the Panthers, finishing with a final score of 45–14. Addy Johnson led the Bears with 11 points, Morgan Simmons followed with 9 points, and Harper Wilt and Elaina Pregley finished with 6 points each.

The championship game of the Davis Thomas Showdown featured DT against Marlinton Middle, with DT holding a slight edge after one quarter at 11–10. The Bears’ lead remained narrow at halftime, as they led by just two points, 25–23. DT blew the game open in the third period, scoring 18 points to start the half and extending their lead to 43–33. The Lady Bears hung on and put the game away, securing a 53–46 victory.

Johnson again led DT in scoring with 19 points, while Hadley Nestor and Simmons collected 13 points each.

With the two wins, the Lady Bears have completed their 2026 season.
