The Tucker County High School volleyball team showed resilience this past week, bouncing back from an early loss to notch two key victories on consecutive nights.
On Tuesday, the Lady Mountain Lions fell to a tough Moorefield squad in straight sets. Despite the loss, the team remained focused and determined to turn things around.
That determination paid off quickly. On Wednesday, Tucker County traveled to Tygarts Valley and came away with a hard-fought win. The team kept their momentum rolling into Thursday, defeating Pocahontas County in another strong performance.
The Lady Mountain Lions continue to improve as the season progresses, and with two wins under their belt this week, they look to carry that energy into their upcoming matches.
Tucker County returns to action next week as they prepare for another round of competitive play on Tuesday, September 16 at 5pm in a tri-match with East Hardy and Preston.
