The Tucker County High School Lady Mt. Lions gave a strong team effort at the Potomac Valley Conference Volleyball Tournament held Saturday at East Hardy High School. Despite their determination, the Lady Mt. Lions fell short, dropping two-set matches to both Paw Paw and Pendleton County.
In their first matchup, Tucker County faced off against Paw Paw, fighting through competitive rallies but ultimately falling in two straight sets. The team then took on a skilled Pendleton County squad, where they again battled hard but came up just shy, losing in two sets.
The Lady Mt. Lions will look to bounce back as they return home for their next match on Thursday, October 23, where they’ll take on Union High School.
