CLARKSBURG – The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams traveled to Liberty Harrison on Wednesday October 2nd to compete in the Liberty Mountaineer Invitational. The Lady Mt. Lions captured first place as a team in the event. In the Boys’ race the Mt. Lions runners placed second as a team.
The Tucker County Girls’ finished the race as follows: 2nd-Kate Falls(24:54.52), 4th-Erin Chambers(25:53.70), 9th-Karlee Smith(29:08.80), 11th-Hannah Hardy(29:36.97), 12th-Kristen Hicks(30:37.23), 13th-Riley Rohrbaugh(31:26.56), 16th-Alaria Hudson(32:58.95), 18th-Kandace Nestor(35:33.33), 21st-Olivia Myers(37:36.52), 22nd-Katie Surguy(38:39.90), 23rd-Caitlin Fladung(38:50.51), 25th-Carley Dumire(42:30.45) and 26th-Emma Wamsley(43:34.64).
The Tucker County Boys’ runners finished as follows: 4th-Holden Young(21:54.56), 7th-Will White(22:28.70), 10th-Clay Poling(23:41.20), 13th-Trent Eure(24:44.07), 14th-Taylor Long(24:52.26), 17th-Wesley Strawderman(27:22.30), 18th-Raine McCauley(27:35.25) and 19th-Ethan Pacella(27:52.85).
