Lady Mt. Lions Cross Country Run at State Championship

ONA – The Tucker County Girls’ Cross Country team traveled to Cabell Midland on Saturday November 2nd to compete at the State Championship Meet. The “AA”-“A” race featured 17 teams and 133 runners. The Lady Mt. Lions ran well to finished 5th overall as a team among Class “A “ teams behind the following teams: 1st-Williamstown, 2nd-Saint Marys, 3rd-Charleston Catholic, 4th-Doddridge County.

The top finisher for Tucker County was Kate Falls who finished in 39th place with a time of 21:45.82. Other runners for the Lady Mt. Lions finished as follows: 44th-Erin Chambers(21:50.19), 84th Hannah Hardy(23:46.57), 89th-Karlee Smith(24:02.29), 96th-Kristen Hicks(24:20.46), 112th-Alaira Hudson(25:21.34) and 114th-Addie Buckley(25:36.42).
