The Lady Wildcats put a bow on Coach Rob Pase’s inaugural season as head coach with back-to-back wins over Green Bank Middle School.
Tucker first traveled to Green Bank, where the matchup was close through three quarters of play. Tucker held leads of 10 and five points, with the game knotted at 22 heading into the final frame. The Lady Wildcats went on a 9–0 run to secure the win, 31–22. Maci Owens led the team in scoring with 11 points, Marlee Evans added 10, and Mia Lambert collected eight points.
Green Bank then made the return trip to Tucker Valley to finish the week. This time, Green Bank held an 8–5 lead after the first quarter. That would prove to be its only lead of the night, as Tucker led 16–10 at halftime and 26–19 heading into the fourth quarter. Tucker once again went on a fourth-quarter run, outscoring its opponent 11–1 to finish the season with a 37–20 victory. Owens again led the team in scoring with 15 points, followed by Lambert with nine and Evans with eight.
This week concludes the season for the Lady Wildcats, who finished with an overall record of seven wins and 11 losses.
