The Mt. Lions Boys Basketball Team hosted the Gilmer County Titans last week. Tucker would hit shots early and often and maintain that success through four quarters of play. Ten different Mt. Lions would find the basket in the game, with the team playing efficient basketball from the tip to the final whistle. Tucker shot the ball at an outstanding percentage of 67% from two and 45% from three, as well as having 27 assists in the game. Tucker had multiple players in double figures, Trevan Bonner and Mikey Mitchell both had 16 points, Ethan Cummings added 15 more, Garrett Wilfong pitched in 13 points, and Cole Carr poured in 11 more. The 93-49 victory over the Titans pushed the Mt. Lions to a 3-0 start to the season, Tucker has a trip to Shinnston lined up next for a holiday tournament, with matchups against Lincoln and Philip Barbour.
