The Tucker County wrestling team attended the Cupid’s Revenge Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, February 14, at Morgantown High School. With Tucker County opening the sport to females this year, Rachel Hile became the first female wrestler in Tucker County history to win a match by pin.
The WVSSAC has approved girls’ wrestling for next season, recognizing it as a separate sport from boys’ wrestling. They will hold their own tournament next year.
