The Tucker County Varsity Football team currently sets at 8-0 on the season. This past week was their bye week, and they hosted their annual elimination dinner and silent auction fundraiser. There were an estimated 150 plus individuals that attended the meal and participated in the auction. Attendees were served a spaghetti dinner with salad, bread and desserts by the players. Local businesses supported the fundraiser with donations to the silent auction in which the team would like to give a special thank you and recognize: Mettiki Coal, Stevens Florist, The Breakfast Nook, Mt. The night was filled with laughter and excitement with numerous door prizes, cooler raffles, auction winners and the grand prize ticket winner. Tucker will resume play this week on the road against Petersburg at 7:00pm.
