MOOREFIELD – The Mt. Lions Baseball team traveled to Moorefield on Monday May 7th for a first round Sectional contest against the Yellowjackets. Tucker County fell in the contest by the final score of 10-0.
Wesley Snyder pitched 4 innings and gave up 8 hits for the Mt. Lions. Tucker County managed just 1 hits I in the game and that came from Shayne Liller.
BAKER – Tucker County traveled to East Hardy on Wednesday May 9th for a Sectional Elimination game. The mt. Lions were not able to get their offense going and dropped the game by the final score of 12-0 to end the season for Tucker County.
Michael Gherman took the loss for the Mt. Lions on the mound. Shanye Liller and Tyler Molone each had 2 hots in the game and Gherman also added 1 hit for Tucker County in the loss. Tucker County finished the season with a record of 1-15.
