The Tucker County Baseball team will open their season on Tuesday March 30th at Tygarts Valley for a Varsity and JV contest.
Second year head coach Josh Evans is optimistic about this year’s team saying, “I am hoping to turn things around this year, and I think we have a shot of having a winning season.” There are some key players returning for this year; Senior Zac Haddox returns from his 2nd team All PVC team selection last year. Haddox will pitch and play several other positions; Sophomore Justin Fike was a 2nd team All PVC team selection and will handle the catcher duties plus more; Senior Landon Dillard will help the team with speed in the outfield and a good bat.
