TUCKER COUNTY BOYS’ COMPETE IN ALL-STAR GAME

FROSTBURG, MD – The Lions Club All-Star Classic was played on Sunday April 28th at Frostburg State University. The game features Senior All-Stars from the West Virginia Eastern Panhandle against Western Maryland Senior All-Stars. Tucker County Boys’ Basketball Players Corrick Ambrose and Jeffrey Snyder competed in the game. The Western Maryland team picked up the win by the final score of 106-89. Corrick Ambrose had 25 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 blocks to lead the West Virginia team. Ambrose was also named the WV Most Valuable Player of the Game. Jeffrey Snyder added 8 points in the contest as well.

Tucker County Senior Girls’ Basketball players McKinley Murphy, Riley Evans and Aliyah Plum were scheduled to compete in the Girls’ All-Start contest, but the Girls’ game was canceled due to lack of Western Maryland players.
