CAMP KIDD – The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams hosted teams for a home meet at Camp Kidd on Friday October 11th. The Lady Mt. Lions finished the meet in 2nd place as a team and the Tucker County Boys’ team finished 4th as a team. Elkins took top honors as a team in the Girls’ race and East Fairmont won the Boys’ team event.
The Tucker County Girls’ finished the race as follows: 6th-Kate Falls(22:37), 7th-Erin Chambers(23:12), 11th-Hannah Hardy(24:35), 13th-Karlee Smith(25:47), 14th-Kristen Hicks(25:49), 16th-Riley Rohrbaugh(27:09), 17th-Alaria Hudson(27:17), 18th-Addie Buckley(27:36), 19th-Katie Surguy(27:49), 22nd-Caitlin Fladung(29:24), 23rd-Kandace Nestor(30:34), 24th-Olivia Myers(31:19), 27th-Emma Wamsley(32:04) and 28th-Carley Dumire(32:05).
The Tucker County Boys’ runners finished as follows: 10th-Will White(19:36), 11th-Holden Young(19:42), 17th-Clay Poling(20:42), 19th-Ethan Pacella(20:54), 25th-Taylor Long(21:43), 26th-Trent Eure(21:54), 29th-Wesley Strawderman(22:38) and 30th-Raine McCauley(23:22).
Both teams will return to action on Thursday October 24th at 4:30pm for the Class “A” Regional Meet at Elkins High School. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
