TUCKER COUNTY CROSS COUNTRY RUN AT PVC CHAMPIONSHIP

KEYSER – The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams traveled to Keyser High School to compete in the PVC Conference Championship Meet on Tuesday October 9th.

The TCHS Girls’ team placed 3rd in a race that consisted of 42 runners. Tucker County placed as follows: 2nd – Kate Falls(22:12), 12th – Karlee Smith(24:51), 13th – Kristin Hicks(24:51), 24th – Zoe Nestor(27:57), 27th – Inza Pacella, 30th Caitlin Fladung(30:57), 31st Kandace Nestor(31:10), 33rd Emma Wamsley(31:17).

In the Boys’ race 53 runners took to the course and the Tucker County Boys’ took home second place honors as a team. The Mt. Lions runners completed as follows: 9th – Will White(19:05), 12th – Holden Young(19:13), 15th – John Anderson(19:59), 16th – Chris Chambers(20:15), 26th – Clay Poling(21:28), 28th – Conor Greenlief(21:80), 30th – Taylor Long(21:38). 31st – Haden Wamsley(23:39), 40th – Jon Rhodes(22:51), 48th – Cameron Wamsley(24:50).

Both teams will return to action on Thursday October 18th at Doddridge County for the Regional Meet at 4:30pm for the Boys’ and 5:15pm for the Girls’. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
