The extra point kick was good by Callaway to make the score 7-0 Tucker County. Southern then got their offense moving after a successful fake punt. Then Tucker County turned the ball over on a Kisamore interception pass to give the Rams good field position at the Mt. Lions 47 yard line. Southern then took advantage 3 plays later on a 28 yard touchdown run and the PAT was good to tie the score at 14 with 3:14 left in the third quarter. The offense for Tucker County then put together a 79 yard drive that was capped off by a 26 yard screen pass to Callaway for the touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter. The extra point kick was good to put the Mt. Lions in front 21-14. The next possession for Southern turned to disaster as Tucker County’s Marshall Whisner got to the quarterback on the pass rush and hit his arm as he threw the ball and Issac Cole intercepted the pass for the Mt. Lions at the Southern 18 yard line. On the very next play Kisamore connected with Fridley on an 18 yard touchdown pass with 10 minutes left in the game. The extra point was good to increase the Mt. Lions lead to 28-14.
The next drive for Southern would stall at midfield and the Tucker County offense went to work again. This time the Mt.
