The WV Sports Writers announced the Class ‘A” Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball All-State Selections on March 21st and
22nd. Tucker County’s Kadie Colebank was selected to the Girls’ Basketball First Team. Colebank averaged a team best 18 ppg and 17 rpg during the season. Jayden Kuhn and Macy Helmick were selected on the Honorable Mention List. Kuhn averaged 12 ppg for the Lady Mt. Lions and Helmick clipped in with 9 ppg for Tucker County who advanced to the Final Four. Tucker County’s Ashton Lycliter was selected to the Boys’ Basketball Second Team All-State List. Lycliter helped advance the Mt. Lions to the State Semi-Finals and he averaged 10 ppg and 10 rpg during the season.
