SNOWSHOE – The Mt. Lions Golf team suffered their first defeat of the season at The Raven in Snowshoe Resort on Tuesday September 10th. Moorefield came in 10 shots below Tucker County with at team score of 131. The Mt. Lions finished the match in second place with a team score of 141. Pendleton County placed third with a 168. Tygarts Valley did not have enough golfers to complete a team which placed them in fourth place. Tucker County golfers finished the day with the following scores: Harper Russell(43), Holden Young(46), Nathan Dearborn(52), Wyatt Betler(53).
DAVIS — Tucker County hosted a four team match on Thursday September 12th at Canaan Valley Resort. Moorefield took the top spot on the day with a team score of 175 just 2 strokes ahead of host Tucker County. The Mt. Lions got second with a team score of 177. Petersburg finished third with a 188 and Pendleton County placed fourth with a 215. The Mt. Lions finished with the following individual scores: Harper Russell(41), Holden Young(44), Nathan Dearborn(46), Myles Paugh and Wyatt Betler(46).
