WHEELING – The Tucker County Golf team traveled Oglebay Resort in Wheeling to compete at the State Golf Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday October 2nd and 3rd. Tucker County placed 6th as a team with a total score of 561. The Tournament was held on the Jones Course of Oglebay Resort and the athletes played 18 holes of golf each day.

Tucker County was led by Easton Snyder with a total score of 179(94, 85) and came in 15th place overall. Holden Young came in 27th place overall with a score of 191(93,98) after 2 days. Myles Paugh placed 29th overall with a score of 198(104,94) and Nathan Dearborn shot a total score of 200(97, 103) to give him 29th place overall. Wheeling Central won the State Championship as a team with a score of 486 and the overall low medalist individual State Championship went to Wheeling Central’s Derrick Harrison with a score of 152(75,77). Ravenswood was State Runner-Up with a score of 510.
