TUCKER COUNTY GOLF TEAM UPDATE

GRAFTON – The Mt. Lions Golf team traveled to the Tygart Lake Golf course in Grafton on Tuesday September 5th for a 3 team match. Tucker County came home with a third place finish scoring a 184 as a team.


Grafton won the match with a team score of 168 and Preston placed second with a team score of 171. Carleigh Bolyard once again led Tucker County and was low medalist for the match with a score of 38. Other Tucker County scores were as follows: Connor Nestor(47), John Anderson(49), Easton Snyder(50), Myles Paugh(50) and Holden Young(55).

KEYSER – Tucker County traveled to Polish Pines Golf Course in Keyser on Wednesday September 6th for a 6 team match. Tucker County in fourth place as a team with a score of 190. Mountain Ridge won the match with a 183, followed by Keyser(186) and Frankfort(189). Allegheny(195) finished behind Tucker County to take fifth place and Fort Hill did not field enough golfers to score as a team to take sixth place. Tucker County scores were as follows: Carleigh Bolyard(43), Easton Snyder(47), Connor Nestor(47), Myles Paugh(53), John Anderson(53), and Nathan Dearborn(60).

CANAAN VALLEY – The Mt. Lions finished the busy 3 day stretch with a home match at Canaan Valley Resort on Thursday September 7th with Pendleton County. Tucker County picked up the win with a team score of 178 as Carleigh Bolyard was low medalist with a score of 41. Other scores for Tucker County were as follows: Connor Nestor(43), Easton Snyder(47), John Anderson(47), Holden Young(48), Myles Paugh(50), Wyatt Betler(55) and Nathan Dearborn(59). Pendleton County carded a team score of 240.

Tucker County will travel to Southern tonight Wednesday September 13th at Southern at 4pm and then they will travel to Pendleton County on Thursday September 14th at 4pm. The Mt. Lions will then host the 18 hole PVC Championship at Canaan Valley Resort on Monday September 18th starting at 10am. For a complete schedule and more info and go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
