TUCKER COUNTY GOLF TEAM UPDATE

CANAAN VALLEY – The Mt. Lions hosted 3 teams in a home match at Canaan Valley Resort on Tuesday September 12^th. The Tucker County Seniors’ Carleigh Bolyard and Connor Nestor were honored before the match.

Tucker County picked up the win with a team score of 173. Carleigh Bolyard was low medalist with a score of 37. Other scores for Tucker County were as follows: Easton Snyder(44), Connor Nestor(45), Holden Young(47), Myles Paugh(50), ), John Anderson(53), Nathan Dearborn(60) and Wyatt Betler(62). Moorefield(186) finished 2^nd, Keyser(189) 3^rd and Pendleton County(224) placed 4^th.

OAKLAND – Tucker County traveled to Oakland for a 5 team match on Wednesday September 13^th. Southern picked up the win with a team score of 160. Tucker County placed 3^rd with a team score of 184. Petersburg took home 2^nd with a 183 and Moorefield(190) 4^th and Northern did not have enough golfers to qualify. Tucker County scores are as follows: Carleigh Bolyard(40), Connor Nestor(46), Easton Snyder(49), Myles Paugh(49), Holden Young(55), John Anderson(61), Nathan Dearborn(53) and Wyatt Betler(64).

FRANKLIN – The Mt. Lions traveled to Fisher Mountain outside of Franklin on Thursday September 14^th for a 3 team match at The Highlands Golf Course. Tucker County picked up the team win with a score of 182. Carleigh Bolyard collected low medalist honors with a score of 40. Other scores for Tucker County: Connor Nestor(46), Holden Young(46), Nathan Dearborn(50), Myles Paugh(53), Easton Snyder(53), Wyatt Betler(55) and John Anderson(59). Moorefield placed 2^nd with a 193 and Pendleton County took third with a score of 233.

Tucker County will travel to Moorefield tonight Wednesday September 20^th and then Tucker County will host their last home match of the season on Thursday September 21^st. Both matches start at 4pm.
