Tucker County Volleyball Update

BAKER – The Lady Mt. Lions Volleyball team traveled to East Hardy on Wednesday October 2nd for a Tri-Match with East Hardy and Paw Paw. In a Tri-Match team play in a best out of 3 set match.

Tucker County would play host East Hardy in the first match. The Lady Cougars took the first set by the score of 25-1. East Hardy would win the second set 25-7 to give the Lady Cougars to match victory over the Lady Mt. Lions 2-0.

Tucker County took to the court next against Paw Paw. The Lady Pirates got the first set win by a score of 25-14. In the second set Paw Paw picked up the set win 25-14. This gave the Lady Pirates the match win over Tucker County 2-0.

MILL CREEK – The Tucker County Girls’ Volleyball team traveled to Tygarts Valley on Thursday October 10th for a Tri-Match with Tygarts Valley and Pendleton County. In the first match for Tucker County the Lady Mt. Lions faced off against Pendleton County. The Lady Wildcats won the first set 25-8. Tucker County put up a better fight in the second set, but Pendleton County took the set 25-14. This gave the Lady Wildcats the win over Tucker County 2-0.

The homestanding Lady Bulldogs took the court next in the last match of the night against Tucker County. Tygarts Valley won the first set 25-8. The Lady Bulldog also took the second set by the score of 25-15. The match ended as a result and Tygarts Valley won the match 2-0.

The Volleyball team would like to We would like to thank the following for helping fund our initial startup: St. George Medical Services, F.O.E.
