SOUTH CHARLESTON – The Annual North South All-Star Football Game was played on Saturday June 8th at South Charleston High School. The game was a defensive battle as the score was tied 0-0 at the half. Then with 8:27 left in the third quarter the North team scored and the 2-point conversion was good to make the score 8-0 North. The South team then got into the endzone with 1:02 left in the fourth quarter, but the 2-point conversion was no good and the North team got the win by the final score of 8-6. Tucker County’s Senior Cole Rapp competed in the game as Rapp collected 4 tackles and had 1 tackle for a loss for the North team.
The game features High School Seniors from Schools across the state. The players are then placed on teams based on their location in the state, North or South.
