PARSONS – The Wildcats hosted Romney Middle in their season opener on Thursday December 6th.
In the JV contest Tucker Valley lost by the final score of 25-21. Garrett Wilfong led the Wildcats with 7 points and Jeremiah Wratchford added 6 points in the loss. The Tucker Valley varsity team got the victory in the second game 42-31. Rory Nestor led Tucker Valley in scoring with 12 points and Drew Steinman chipped in with 9 points for the Wildcats in the victory.
Tucker Valley will host Petersburg tonight for a JV/Varsity contest and then the Wildcats will travel to Gilmer County on Friday December 14th for 2 games. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
