PARSONS – The Wildcats football team hosted Pendleton County Middle School last Wednesday September 14th. Tucker Valley only trailed 7-0 after the first quarter, but Pendleton County scored 39 more points to pick up the victory 46-0.
Pendleton County struck first with 2:31 left in the first quarter. The extra point kick was good to make the score 7-0. Tucker Valley was unable to sustain their drive on the next possession and gave the ball back to Pendleton County. Trevor Adams gave Tucker Valley back on an interception with 7:44 left in the second quarter. Tucker Valley was unable to keep the ball as Pendleton County went to work. The visiting team would score once again with 6:32 left in the first half. The PAT failed to put the score to 13-0 Pendleton County. Pendleton County scored with 3:02 left in the second and the PAT was successful to make the score 21-0. Then with 13 seconds left in the half the visiting Wildcats scored again to push the lead to 27-0 at the half.
In the second half Tucker Valley could not get their offense moving and had trouble slowing down Pendleton County as the Tucker Valley deficit got worse as Pendleton County scored once more with 2:18 left in the third quarter to make the score 33-0. Pendleton County added 2 more scores on the night to make the final score 46-0.
