PARSONS – The Lady Wildcats Girls’ Basketball team hosted Elkins Middle for 2 games on Thursday January 3rd. In the JV contest Tucker Valley fell in a close game 11-10.

Tabitha Adams and Brylee Wetzel led the Lady Wildcats with 4 points each in the loss.
Tucker Valley picked up the win in the Varsity contest in another tight game by the final score of 31-29. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Macy Helmick with 9 points. Jacey Davis and Corrinia Lipscomb added 6 points each for the Lady Wildcats in the win.
PARSONS – The Tucker Valley Girls’ Basketball team hosted Mannington Middle on Saturday January 5th for a JV and Varsity afternoon contests. The Lady Wildcats JV team picked up the win over the Lady Gators by the final score of 35-12. Katie Hicks led the Tucker Valley JV team with 11 points and Jayden Moore added 8 points for the Lady Wildcats in the win. In the Varsity contest Mannington got the win over Tucker Valley by the final score of 43-33. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Macy Helmick with 9 points and Shaleigh Darlington added 6 points in the loss for the Lady Wildcats.
Tucker Valley will travel to Gilmer County Middle on Friday January 11th and then they will host Kasson on Monday January 14th for a Varsity only contest. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
