Tucker Valley Girls’ Basketball Update

HAMBLETON – Tucker Valley hosted Petersburg for a JV and Varsity contest on Tuesday December 17th. In the first game of the night the Lady Wildcats JV team picked up the victory in a close game by the final score of 27-26. Emily Snyder led the Tucker Valley JV with 10 points. Reagan Herron and Makenna Evans added 5 points each for the Lady Wildcats JV in the win. The second game of the night was also a close contest as Petersburg got the win in overtime by the final score of 45-47. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Macy Helmick with 17 points and Brylee Wetzel added 10 points for the Lady Wildcats in the loss.
MT. STORM – The Lady Wildcats traveled to Union for a varsity only contest against Union on Thursday December 19th. Tucker Valley got off to a quick start and cruised to a 45-4 victory. Macy Helmick and Makenna Evans led Tucker Valley with 9 points each. Katie Hicks added 8 points for the Lady Wildcats in the win.
HAMBLETON – Tucker Valley traveled to TCHS to play 2 games against Davis-Thomas on Saturday December 21st. In the first game of the day the Lady Wildcats JV team got the win by the final score of 30-9. The Tucker Valley JV was led by Makenna Evans with 9 points and Reagan Herron added 6 points in the win for Tucker Valley JV. In the varsity contest Davis-Thomas took home the victory by the final score of 22-16. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Macy Helmick, Tabitha Adams and Brylee Wetzel with 5 points each.
