CAMP KIDD – The Lady Wildcats Softball team hosted Taylor County Middle on Monday April 29th for 1 game. Tucker Valley picked up the home win by the final score of 21-2.
Corrinia Lipscomb got the win on the mound for Tucker Valley as she struck out 5 batters in 2 innings of work. Ava Shaffer also contributed in pitching with 1 inning of action. Everyone in the lineup has a hit and scored at least 1 run in the game. Paige Shaffer led Tucker Valley with a triple, while Rachel Felton, Brianna Gooden and Lipscomb each had 1 double each. Katie Hicks added a single for the Lady Wildcats in the win.
CAMP KIDD – Tucker Valley hosted Elkins Middle on Tuesday April 30th. The Lady Wildcats controlled the game and took the win 12-2.
Corrinia Lipscomb got the victory on the pitching mound. Lipscomb struck out 11 batters in 4 innings of action. Rachel Felton led Tucker Valley on offense with 3 hits and 3 runs scored, including a triple. Paige Shaffer added a triple, a single and also scored 3 runs for the Lady Wildcats in the win. Shaleigh Darlington then went deep for Tucker Valley for a home run in the contest.
